Crazy Curves Runner

Yesterday I finally had time to get back to the little runner I’m making from charm squares.  It took less than an hour to sew the blocks and then another hour to set the blocks together and press them.  This was a really fast project!  The most time consuming part was deciding how to arrange the blocks. My first thought was to just set them willy-nilly, making circles, half-circles, and three-quarter circles, but then ended up not being too crazy about that.  So, I just made complete circles and like it much better.  This afternoon when I get home from my volunteer “jobs” I’ll take a look at fabric to see if I want to add a border.  Right now it’s 16” x 40” and I can get the back out of 1/2 yard so I’m thinking of leaving it as is, but it would probably look better with a border.  I wish I didn’t have to leave right away so I could finish it.  I love days when I can sew all day—unfortunately, this isn’t one of them!!

Maybe the binding would be plenty to make it look finished. I kind of like it as it is.

I remember taking a class at your shop to make this block. It is one of my favorite quilts. I like the colors you’ve chosen for your runner.
