Hiking Zion National Park

We spent about a day and a half at Zion National Park and hiked several of the trails.  It is so beautiful and pictures don’t do it justice.  This area must be a geologist’s dream!  The layers of rock are so interesting and it is mind boggling to think about how this was formed over millions of years.  Here are a few pictures I took during our hikes.

Oh, I am so loving your vacation! Your pictures show a part of our beautiful U.S. that I’ve never toured … simply beautiful! I loved that you put everything back home on hold and jetted off to the west! I’m glad you’re having a wonderful time!

Your pictures are gorgeous, but having been there, I know the reality is so much more. Lucky you for being there right now. And Bryce! What a wonderful vacation. If you pass by signs that say Fruita, Utah, stop for 30 minutes or so and take a look. Paul and I spent a very pleasant morning there before driving back into the Capitol Reef area. I don’t know how much it’s changed in the last ten years.

Love being an “armchair traveler” and seeing the great photos you are sending and hearing about the wonderful trip you are on.
