Sometimes I browse through the vintage quilts on Ebay to find inspiration for future projects. Recently I saw a little gray and yellow Puss in the Corner quilt and fell in love with it. It was so soft and simple and I really wanted to re-create it. It became a perfect little quilt to make between larger projects. It took less than two hours to cut and piece to this point.
The quilt I saw was quilted in straight lines, modern style, and I’ll quilt mine that way too. This week doesn’t hold many commitments so I should find time to finish it, then move on to my regularly scheduled programming!

That is such a sweet quilt.
Love the colors.
I love the soft color way and simplicity of that quilt. I tend to get bogged down and overloaded with all of the quilt patterns I see and end up totally unable to choose.
So pretty … Love the soft, cuddly colors.
Such a sweet baby quilt. It’s nice to see a gender-neutral baby quilt these days when the parents know the baby’s sex ahead of time.
What a great idea to browse vintage quilts for your inspiration. Vintage means homey to me and that homey feeling brings comfort. This will be a much loved quilt.
So many great things all in one quilt…yellow and gray(looks blue on my computer), on point, simple pattern and a quicky.
Do you have a pattern or dimensions for this wonderful baby quilt? I’m not sure about the corner setting triangle sizes.
Thanks!
Love the colors in the quilt! You have given me inspiration, I have some Puss in the Corner blocks and this design would use them up without having to make a bunch more.
Oh, I do like that. It has a soft, soothing feel to it.
