Friday Finish: Road to Oklahoma

Recently I found a Boho jelly roll in my stash and cut it up for this Road to Oklahoma quilt.  Because there is so much background in the quilt I wanted to make a pieced border to add a little more color.  Of course there wasn’t quite enough left over from the jelly roll strips but luckily I also had a charm pack of this fabric so was able to cut a few squares to finish the border.

Road to OK-1

The quilting is a pantograph called Tickle Too.

Rd to OK-2

This is a traditional block and I didn’t have a pattern, so I wrote one and it’s now posted on the “Free Patterns” page here.

I love the Road to Oklahoma pattern when you are using scraps. It really works well with the jelly roll you picked. I love your border too. Thank you for sharing.
