Last week my quilting group met for our Christmas party and I had really hoped to have this quilt finished for show and tell. Unfortunately I just didn’t have enough sewing time in November to make the progress needed to finish. There are 180 blocks in the quilt and even though they were all pretty simple to piece, it still took a lot of time to make them. It also took a lot of time to cut them since I went super scrappy and sometimes only cut a 1-1/2” square out of a fabric. Happily, though, the blocks are all made, and I’m ready to sew the top together. This is a quilt that’s been on my bucket list for several years and it’s fun to finally see it coming to fruition.
I’m linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times. If you are looking for some quilty inspiration, check out the links there to see what other quilters have on their design walls.

Wow! What an awesome scrappy quilt! I imagine it did take you a long time to cut the fabrics for this one. How nice to be able to check something off of your quilting bucket list!
