Week 43, 2013 Stash Report and Recap

It’s been awhile since I’ve written a stash report and I had to take a second look when I typed “week 43.”  Wow!  Where did the year go?  Only nine more weeks to get my numbers up but yesterday’s sewing should help.

It was National Make A Difference Day and I didn’t have any “formal” volunteer activity planned so I decided to tackle machine bindings for these four quilts..  They are all for donation so win-win!

donation finishes

My stats:
Used since last report:  33 yards (Star Surround-4, Dutchman’s Puzzle-6, Birds in the Air-5, Buzz Saw-8, Crazy Curves-5, Rock Candy-5)
Used year to date:  303 yards
Purchased since last report:  4 yards
Purchased year to date: 97 yards
Net year to date:  206 yards used

It’s somewhat encouraging that over 200 yards are out of stash, but there’s still a lot to use up!

Check out stash numbers from other quilters at Patchwork Times.

Rhonda, you continue to be my inspiration! This morning, as soon as I saw those four quilts you quilted, I got off the computer and loaded up a charity quilt! It’s now quilted, ready for the binding to be hand applied (tv or car time for me too). Mine is just a smaller Project Linus quilt, but, hey!, it’s one more finished! Keep quilting! It appears then that I will too!
