We will be travelling quite a bit for the next three months so I debated whether or not to set an OMG (One Monthly Goal) for July. It’s great motivation though and I’m on a roll with machine quilting so my goal is to quilt a couple more tops. It will also be nice to have some bindings to hand stitch in the car.
Both of these quilts are 2018 starts, so they won’t do anything to reduce my UFO count. This year I hope to finish everything I start in an effort to contribute nothing else to those UFO bins. So far I’ve done pretty well but haven’t started very many. There is almost half the year left so we’ll see if that continues.
This quilt is called Pinata by Villa Rosa. I love the lime green background. Luckily, I found some fabric in my stash that will work perfectly for the back.
This one is also by Villa Rosa. These little pattern cards are great for using up stash and the tops usually go together very quickly. This one is called Sierra Snow. I haven’t looked for a back yet, but surely I have a black or taupe print that will work.
So that’s it for this month. Not a big goal, but it would be nice to have two more finishes!
Need a little inspiration? Take a look at some of the other projects linked at One Monthly Goal hosted by Patty at Elm Street Quilts.

I think I’d better get on this OMG bandwagon. You’re right about finishing what we’ve started. I did really good for awhile, but have slipped— bad!— and now my number of UFO’s is climbing. (Especially since I’ve done so many from Olive’s Flower Garden tower!)
Congrats on all your finishes … well done!
