DWM: Birds in the Air

This is another UFO from the basket under my sewing table.  It was a teaching sample from several years ago for the Birds in the Air block.  It might have been MANY years ago—the fold lines may be permanent!  The top was pieced and it just needed borders.  I sewed them on, then pieced a back and cut the batting.  Now it’s just waiting it’s turn for quilting.

    I am in the midst of completing those projects whose priority got rearranged. So I have three completed and two needing borders before anythings else gets started…good job!

    Rhonda, you are my inspiration! I just dug out an old, old, old sampler from the Patchwork Sampler days. (It must have been a BoM … but it has applique on it too.) I’m determined to finish it!! I love the “Birds” quilt!
