If it weren’t for One Monthly Goal I might not have done any sewing this month. For the first time in about 30 years I am not at all motivated to quilt. I have to admit, it was a struggle to meet this month’s goal, but I’m glad I did it. My ultimate goal is to move fabric and quilts out of my house so this will help a bit. All of these will be donated to Project Linus
The Quick Strippie quilt from maryquilts.com is one of my favorite donation quilts. It is a great size for kids, is quick and easy to piece and really showcases the fabric. I had several yards of this racing print in my stash so I assembly line pieced four using the same fabrics. There are basic instructions for many easy quilts at Maryquilts.com. Check it out the next time you need to make a quick donation quilt.
Awhile back, I was using up this Cat Nap’n fabric from my stash and cut out a few quilts. This go-around I pieced two more of them.
Then I pieced a Yellow Brick Road from Cat Nap’n.
This chunk of elephant print flannel was in my cupboard so I made two more Quick Strippies.
The 10th quilt was a UFO in the pile. This is a stashbuster in the Arkansas Traveler pattern.
There are still a few UFO baby quilts in the pile. Now that I know how fast they are to finish, maybe I’ll move them out by the end of the year.
Be sure to check out other OMG finishes at Elm Street Quilts and stop back by there tomorrow to see the November goals!

What great quilts. How nice of you to donate to Project LInus. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.

Your Project Linus quilts look so soft and cuddly! There are times indeed when I move from quilting to crocheting and back again. Even if I’m not physically sewing, I’m mentally sewing…if that makes any sense. Sometimes, my brain needs time to process what my heart wants to make…..
Thank you for sharing with us and your community! 🙂
